Correct front fender

Post by joemama » Tue Jun 15, 2010 5:11 pm

Hey all. Wanting to know if anyone can tell me exactly what the differences are in the CB front fenders? I have a 64 (vin 106649) and have been told my fender looks cut. I agree. Problem is the parts book lists two for the 64 (61100-268-040S early model, 61100-268-050S late model) and I have no idea what to look for. Here is a pic of my fender. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

there was a fork design change, the early/late front fender have different center brackets, the later bracket is the yellow one. this is how i took the center bracket off what remained of my original early fender and swapped it onto a later fender.
