Spark Plugs '66 CB77 Superhawk

Post by costell2 » Wed Oct 12, 2005 2:45 pm

I have seen posts on here about the correct spark plug size and gap.

On the NGK search site, it lists the proper plug to use is D8HA gapped at .028

Everything else on here says NGK D8HS gapped at .018

Which is correct?

D8HA is an improved version of the D8HS which is an improved version of the D8H that was originally used on the CB77, CB160 and S90. By improved it means a wider hest range. That is why the D9H and D10H are no longer offered. My CB160 would overheat the D8H with sustained 70+ cruising. The D10H was what I had to use, but the D8HSA would be suitable today.
