Hello Everyone,
Attached below are some pictures of my coils connected to my voltmeter.
The last photo is my voltmeter with the probes touching each other, my understanding is that the meter should read zero, to the right, but I can not calibrate it to zero. So my meter might be off...
The other two photos are of the coils with the voltmeter and the reading is the same as the probes touching each other.
Does that reading mean good coils or bad coils?

Coils... Good or bad?
I would agree that both coils would go at the same time.
The odd thing is I get a different volt reading when I measure at the spark boot end, both are low in the 4 to 4.5 volt range. So would that be a bad wire running from the coil to the plug? I had thought about clipping the plug wires but the ones I have do not present a clear place to clip the wire and re-crimp the wire. In other words no clear boot in the wire. Clark
