Engine starts without hitting ignition switch

Next problem....The bike starts if I turn the key up or down from the off position with no ignition switch being pushed.......???

Ya need to check the wires inside the right side were the button is at.
Chances are the wire in there is touching the handlebar which grounds the circuit. .??. ......lm

Could have happened when I put in the new throttle cable. I'll go check! Thank you!

corrosion plays hell with all bikes most often at the start button or kill switch.

Well I took it apart and it looked very clean inside. There doesn't seem to be any corrosion. The wire has a few frays and pulled out from the weld and like LM said, was probably hitting the handlebar. It looks like I'm going to need to learn how to solder unless anyone knows another way of connecting the wires back to that little board? Liquid electrical tape maybe??

Solder is best.
If the connection is OK ya may be able to tape the area and not solder.
The object is to not let the bare wire touch metal. ..................lm
