Post by GregMcN » Thu Jan 18, 2018 3:33 pm

Does anyone have a picture of the neutral light (electrical side), I have the lens and plastic nut fitting but nothing else.

Thanks Greg

there is a rubber boot that fits over the lip of the plastic nut. a two wire bulb assembly simply pushes into that boot. Tim at vintagehondarestorations sells the whole thing. I think Kevin at scramblercycles also does. DavidSilverspares also has the whole thing listed.
Good luck

Neutral light wiring.

The black wire ISN'T the ground but is a live or HOT feed.

The bulb is Live or HOT all the time and lights up when the green/red wire is grounded or earthed via the neutral switch, only when the bike is in neutral obviously. Simple system which works well enough and is usually trouble free.

Thanks all for the information ( and apologies I meant to post under electrical). I could not find a David Silver item but will check the others though maybe I could also find something generic now I have a better idea.

Thanks Alan, if I am looking at the right thing then the light is at right angles to the lens in the shell?
