Number plates in the UK

Post by danielmoto » Mon Jan 09, 2012 3:44 pm

Hello all, was just wondering if i was able to fit the black/white number plates still as the front one was mounted to the front mudguard and i know there seems to be some concern over them fitted in that position. Also any recomendations for a maker of them please. Cheers danielmoto. (My name is Wayne, My son is Daniel, hence Danielmoto)
Any cure for the classic bug, as ive got it bad.

Wayne

You can use black and white number plates up to 1971, I think. Pretty sure that that is when front plates were no longer a requirement, too.

You can try here for plates...

There's a guy that custom makes them on ebay. I was thinking of getting one for the front fender of my Dream. I don't know how to do the link, but the item # is 140344907342.
