will the tire size MT90H-16 fit the rims correctly. I found original 3.25x16 fire stones but heard they ride rough. how about Shinko classic 240.thanks for your help

An MT90H-16 tire is about 5" wide so it won't work on the Dream. The Shinko's aren't to bad for the price. 325-16 and 350-16 both fit fine.

Tires

You can find conversion charts on the internet. But, beware, tires of the same "size" designations will differ among manufacturers

I have a note from my research that a 100/90-16 and MJ90 are supposed to be the same as a 3.25 to 3.50.

I hope that helps you.

Thread pattern

Post by Maximum Carnage » Mon May 02, 2016 5:38 pm

What brands come close to being the same thread pattern as the same tires that the Dream originally came with?

I like the Kenda K671 and the Coker Firestone #63285 seem too aggressive...

The pickens are slim if you want white walls, though, some have showed up on eBay recently. http://www.ebay.com/itm/HONDA-CA77-CA72 ... VJ&vxp=mtr That tread is not the same as OEM but, look like they might be a little better than the Firestones.

Anybody tried them?

Thanks for the link, Would like white wall but $350 shipped is a bit too pricey.

I have used a 3.00x16 on the front of my CA78 and it rides fine.
