Front Blinker Position

Post by AK Dream » Tue Feb 18, 2014 2:19 pm

I'm having to drill holes to install blinkers on my handle bars. Can anyone tell me if there is a certain placement? About half way up the rise looked ok to me, but was wondering if it should be higher or lower for some reason.

I had hoped someone with original winkers would give an answer (for both of us). The pictures I have seen look more like 2/3 to 3/4 up the riser but I can't say whether those were original or not.

Happy to help

These are the bars for my 1967 C72. The bars are slightly different from the US version but should be near enough. The winkers are positioned quite near the top.
