Honda special tool for 305 clutch nut.... Need one!

Post by downtoscratch » Mon Sep 23, 2013 10:55 am

I have ordered a spanner from two different sources and they both came up undersized when
applied to the clutch and oil filter sprocket nut on my CB77. Any out there for sale? Those 2
sized spammers on eBay are too small for this nut. thanks in advance for any help. Steamer11

I used the shock spanner wrench that came with the tool kit, worked great.

You can get a quality adjustable hook spanner wrench (JHWilliams, Armstrong, or Proto) to fit the crankshaft nut. You won't be able to actually "torque" it with the hook spanner, but certainly can seriously tighten it. This will also work on the right hand camshaft drive lock nut. Regards, Chase
