I have just purchased a 66 Honda Dream 305. It came with a new Firestone Champion Deluxe 3.25 x 16 tire on the front. I need to purchase a new back tire. When I called Coker Tire the only matching back tire they had they indicated was NOS. Does this mean it is an unused tire but prehaps 46 years old ? I would hate to purchase a tire that old to ride on.
They did have newly made tires the size I already have on the front.
Could I consider putting the same size tire as my front tire on my back rim ? Will it fit on the back rim. I assume it would be slightly narrower than what originally was on the back.
I would prefer for the tires to both be Firestone Champion Deluxe black walls. Does anyone know another source for this particular tire purchase other than Coker ?
