CL77 Guppie Muff?

Post by jcspc » Thu Aug 27, 2009 11:17 am

Been looking around for a muffler for my 65' CL77. Is there an after market reproduction or anyone got a line on an original?

Yeah, I checked Macys today, but they didn't have them either! Tim's doing a lot of repro parts for the 305s. We're lucky to have him doing it!

Ditto, to what you said! I do too many bikes, and am always trying to save $ anywhere possible. If you aren't in a hurry, one will find you sonner or later.

True. This project has really tested my patience. Restoring bike or anything else builds character and patience. What you think takes a day will take a week. what takes a week will take a month and so on. When I first got the bike I figured I'd be done in a few months or so. More like 2 yrs!. Geeeeeezzzz...

But it is looking nice and getting a lot of head turning...that's nice...

and it SOUNDS BITCHIN'!!!!!!!!!
