CB chainguard question

Post by e3steve » Tue Nov 11, 2008 4:07 am

My '61-framed CB has this chainguard, which fits over the r/h engine casing; most others I've seen fit inside the casing. Is mine fitted wrongly -- I don't see any other method -- or was there a design change here?

Thanks in advance.

Hi e3—

I wonder if that might be an aftermarket part by classichondarestoration.com. I'd like to know myself.

Cheers— Mar'

Good point, Mar'; I hadn't thought that might be the case.

Thanks Ed. So they do insert into the chaincase, as opposed to cover it?
