Main stand bolts

Post by toastyhamster » Fri Oct 10, 2008 12:08 pm

So many questions...

Are the mainstand bolts threaded all the way to the bolt head? I would have expected them to have had a shoulder for the stand to rotate on, but mine are just plain bolts and I suspect the wrong ones. David Silver wants 12 quid a bolt, which I suppose I will pay if they are special bolts.

Yes, they are collared bolts. I have made a temp makeshift one by sliding a collar over a threaded bolt. If you want to run a sidestand as well as a centerstand, you will need a special bolt for the left side that is longer than the stock one. It's a CYB part.
