You might also want to look at 2010 Dodge Caliber Sunburst Orange Pearl. Might be a bit brighter than the OE Honda color, but would pass for most folks. Regards, Chase

Candy Orange

Have your painter check on Lubri-Tech "Candy Orange" from 1969. Honda sent out a Service Bulletin in 1969 saying that Lubri-Tech made paints that were "formulated to match the Honda Motor Co. factory finishes..." In 1969 they showed that Candy Orange for a CL-175, but it might be the same.

Maybe also try Lubri-Tech "Candy Orange Custom" or "Candy Topaz Orange" from 1974.

Candy Orange CL77

Thanks everyone for the recommendations and suggestions. I had already traveled down many of those roads checking auto color charts, all old Honda colors and none seem to be a close enough match for the paint under the rubber knee pads. I think Tom Hooser described it best, it's more burnt orange than a true candy orange, the Ebay picture verified that for me. My luck changed again. The painter I had lined up to paint my bike died of a heart attack last week. 53 years old is just too young to go.
