I'm attaching a picture of the tool kit that came with my '67 scrambler. It appears to match the kit that Bill Silver has in his 300 parts catalogue on page 64 with the exception of the flat blade screwdriver shaft. The small end of the large wrench fits the valve covers and the big end fits the rear axel just as LM says.

Thank JC. I think I got a good deal on it even if the dogbone turns out to be wrong. The kit was listed as being possibly for a Goldwing or 750 but I ID'd it as earlier. Thanks again for the response.

Tool Kit Arrived

Post by Carl » Thu Jan 24, 2008 8:02 pm

The tool kit came today and it looks great! The dogbone is correct, with the small end fitting the valve cover caps and the large end fitting the rear axle nut. The roll up tool holder is black plastic trimmed with black cloth on the edges and has a single cloth tie strap attached. I thought I remembered them being dark blue, but maybe that was another bike.

Thanks guys, for your help.......Carl
