Just got a Honda 305 from the back part of a barn. Owner looking for the title, believes he will find it. I am brand new to the forum. Have the following numbers:
Frame CB77-1051078 Motor CB77E-1051104
I believe it's a 1964 (?). Any help verifying this would be appreciated. Plans are to re do completely.

Your bike is not a 1964. Honda went to a seven digit VIN in 1965. The last frame number recorded when production ceased in 1967 was 1056432 as noted in Bill Silver's book. These bikes were titled in the year they were sold. I had a 1966 I bought from the original owner that was frame #1045694.
