Honda Dream History Exhibit.

I wanted to share this with you guys since you've helped me so much over the past year and we can all appreciate some old crap together.

I live in Nebraska and took a weekend vacation to Anamosa, Iowa to the National Motorcycle Museum.

It was pretty overwhelming, I only spent a few hours in there but there's over 400 motorcycles, all sorts of awesome exhibits like a full 1/4 board track with displayed bikes, retro gas stations rebuilt and miles and miles of papers and posters. Also had an awesome wall of "engine evolution" everything from old JAPs and Harley singles to modern Evos and Desmos.

Each maker and model had good representation in my opinion. I'm a big German manufacturer fan and they had some rare Zundapps and Beemers as well as other companies I'd never heard of.

Had a beautiful Vincent Black Prince, one of only 100 to have been built. I've got a ton of pictures if anybody wanted me to post more but for now I'll keep it Honda related.

I saw my first Dream E-Type in person, man it was cool.



Also saw more history on the evolution of the Benly:



And they had a small section for CB77s and other Dreams:



These pictures aren't great and thats mostly because of all the overhead spotlighting and that the bikes are like sardines in there. There isn't 6 inches to a foot between them so getting good "side profile" pictures was difficult.

Thanks for the info and for posting the photos. Always good to hear about motorcycle-related exhibits and museums around the country.

I wonder if a section could be created on the Forum that would have a database of museums and collections of motorcycles around the world. Might be helpful for those of us who are looking for an excuse for a road trip!
