CB72 Swinging Arm Nut Torque ?

Post by Phil-UK » Tue Dec 10, 2013 11:21 am

I've slackened off the swinging arm to clean up the footrest plates and wondered if anyone has a torque figure for tightening the self locking nut ?

When I assembled it I did it so the swinging arm would just drop under its own weight but as everything else is in place it would be easier if I could just torque it up.

Thanks in advance,

Phil

I don't know I've seen a number fore this.
I do as you did after I've pulled down tight on the nut to position all parts then slack back to allow the arm to move without much force. .....lm
