CB77 HandlebarsRight. Guess I should've known.
Thanks, Steve. I'm getting pretty well-versed in all the kinks, loops and inconsistencies in the CAs but I've yet to start on my CB. I'm sure I have volumes to learn there. '63 CA77 - Giving me all kinds of headaches.

OK, here's what I have (with the flat, factory NOS handlebar): The important dimension for the throttle cable is from the grip to the Y-split, as from there to the carbs is the same no matter which 'bar you have.
The CB's routing is quite straightforward compared to the C/CA models. See images below. Incidentally, from the levers' perches, the clutch cable passes between the front brake cable and the headlamp; i.e. ahead of / in front of (left over right).
throttle cableNote too that the throttle cable splitter should rest on top of coil for smoothest operation as shown. Hi Steve!

Thanks everyone. This is great info and very useful, although way ahead of schedule. I've yet to get the engine unstuck! Then rebuild engine, strip and powdercoat frame, find and install and exhaust system, new tires, repaint. And that's just the stuff I know about.
When it's time to replace the cables I'll be forearmed and ready to roll. '63 CA77 - Giving me all kinds of headaches.
