Engine Hanger Bolts

I have recently acquired a 1963 CB72 that I will be restoring. I am currently away working and am taking a bit of time in the evenings to look for parts I require on the internet. I require some engine mounting bolts and have noticed the top one I have seen on the net has a bend in it and costs a fortune. Why does it have this bend ? Could it be substituted with a straight bolt ? I don't remember what the upper mount looks like. On this subject, are engine mount bolts in general made out of a special steel or can they be substituted with normal stainless or steel bolts from the local nut and bolt shop ?

I have a parts list and workshop manual scans here on my computer. I am still none the wiser. In the parts list book it's shown as a straight bolt. Every one I see advertised for a CB72 has a bend at one end. So what's the deal with the bend and can normal stainless or steel engine mount bolts be used not only on this resto but all resto's or are they specially hardened or something ?

That is a 810 issue bolt for installing a steering damper similar to what the CL72/77 has.
Several offers on eBay show that setup.
They are large normal nuts washers and bolts.

Ok thanks. I have seen those steering dampeners advertised as well for CB72's. I was wondering where they mount to. Where does the other end mount to ? Are they a worth while addition to a road going bike or overkill unless your racing ?

A racing add.
Your bike has a steering damper but my experience has been ta not tighten the friction as the bike will not turn well as ya just lean into the turn. .............lm
