Key... what do I have and how do I get a Honda key the same?

Thanks for the reply. I think I can fairly easily find a replacement blank. What I'm looking for, though, is a HONDA key to keep it original. If that fails, I'll be going the Taylor blank route.

I did years ago what OldStan recommended and turned out to be a gold mine. One of the older lock shops in town had the Taylor key, which was the exact blank as the Honda. He had 7 blanks left of this "old stock", so I grabbed all 7. I suggest you get now what you can as this blank is difficult to find. I figure I'll catch my pant leg on that stupid key and break it at least two more times. As for original "HM" forged key...good luck!

I have had "NB696" on an Ebay saved searh list for over a year, and nothing yet! The NB keys are really rare. The NAs seem to be less rare. You can always change IGN and fork lock if it's that important.

Not trying to go in a different direction on this thread just want to tell Davo that i have the NB696 key and switch on my bike.
