Can i really be thinking about giving up my first love, to buy old classics. Mates and wife are pretty sure ive had a bump on the head or something, dont know why but i really enjoy bringing a bike back to life.

Cure for the classic bug

Post by conbs » Tue Jan 17, 2012 1:56 pm

I don't think there is a cure for the classic bug, though it does seem to go into remission at least some of the time when you run out of money.

Be forewarned, when you resurrect a classic and hear it roar to life that first time, the disease almost always becomes terminal.

Hooked....

Post by brcree » Wed Feb 01, 2012 10:46 am

Hello Wayne..........yes, when it hits ya it hits ya! I've been bitten for about 6 yrs now, no cure in sight. I have brought 5 bikes back to life to date! My latest is a 305 Dream. What fun its been...especially with the electrics.......most other bikes have been a nightmare to figure out. Just give in to the force!
In God we trust!.....Nothing like some breeze on the knees!
