I think if you have a legit ME address just go with that. If I was in that situation I would register it there and leave it with those plates. Done deal. The Vermont thing can work too but you still have the same insurance issue.

Regarding local dealers I use Cycles as they are pretty close. The parts dept are great and know their stuff but I would not get anything serviced there. I have also been to N. Reading Honda and they are great - it is a small shop and the owner loves old stuff.

Oh yeah and that guy in Wilmington has nothing but rubbish. I have never dealt with him but have never seen anything worth buying either.

My wifes doing her PHD in Mass. at Clark University... going to take a trip out there next year, anyone want to meet me for a leg of my trip?!
