Headlight Repair

Post by Terry McKitrick » Thu Aug 10, 2006 11:11 pm

I have a CB77 headlight bucket, and a new headlight, and cannot figure out how to get the two of them to stay together. The headlight goes into the bucket by inserting it sideways, and it fits flush against the inside ot the bucket. I have one of the "unit holder" sort of "W" shaped wires, but there does not seem to ba a place to secure/fasten it to hold anything in place. I have viewed the fichfinder at servicehonda.com, and it is about as helpful as the average computer manual. I am almost at the silicon & extra screws stage. Anyone have any tips?

The headlight mounts into the chrome rim with 3 of those "W" parts then the chrome rime is fited from the Top and pull down so the 2 screws can be installed. .....lm[

I was going to post an image to show the clip in position, but I no longer seem to have that option when replying! I'll try to figure it out.
