Was in Eugene picking up a tire (half price from what I would had paid on the coast) yesterday for my XR at Cascade Motorcycle Specialties on west 11th Av. The place wasn't much to look at till I seen the parking lot full of old Honda's. when I happen to look in the back and seen several more old Honda's being worked on, I got into a conversation with an older gent named Dave; who happen to mention that he had a 250+ collection of old motorcycles in a warehouse that he was having to vacate and 3/4 were pre 75 Honda's. I tell you honestly the hair on the back of my neck stood up. He's not stupid and knows what there worth (he restores them when he's not working on customer bikes) but he said in the next week or so he's bringing them into town and I could come look them over. He's real easy to talk to and I think he's in a bind as he allowed that he was thinking of "thinning it out". I don't have the time or money (all tied up in the Dream and my new garage) but I was wondering if any of you Eugeners were interested in taking a look at them and maybe pictures and letting the group know if he has any he's willing to part with. He did say he had two dreams and 5 super hawks, and a black bomber, many 750 fours.......ect. These kind of things keep me awake at night.

Honda Hoard alert for Eugene, Oregon!
Honda Hoard alert for Eugene, Oregon!Clarence, I''ll stop by and take pics if possible. I live in Harrisburg and work in Springfield.
Cascade Cycle has been the vintage stop for some time. Dave sells on ebay, but I could not find his seller name. Expect to pay full retail on his blow out. Orin rents the back and does work (as a hobby) for the locals, great guy. He is a wealth of knowledge. Eugene has many old Hondas tucked away, many of the owners choose to stay anonymous. Also, next time your up this way, sent a PM and I'll try to come into town. I grew up on the south coast and traveled the Myrtle Point area. Both of my Dreams came from Coquille. Scram64 P.S. Have you ever met Pineapple Dave?
