Luggage Racks

Post by cbxmountainman » Tue Nov 25, 2008 2:58 pm

Rather than pay the $40.00 shipping fee, I "won" the other rack for $13.01 plus $11.00 shipping. So what if the chrome is bad? I'm going to sandblast it all off with my machine and just have it powdercoated (free) a nice satin silver. Works for me. Thanks for all the opinions. Have to keep it straight sometimes.

Isn't Capitalism great. It has faults, but sure beats the alternatives. I found my headlight rim at Ohio Cycle, at a better price and since I was ordering other goodies the shipping was cheaper. Now on to the Buy It Now gentlemen who has a chain guard for $399.00 out the door. I know they are rare, so he may get lucky.

F#~% a duck! How much?! They're not that bloody rare! I mean, scorpion stings or home-grown tomatos are rare in Antarctica, but I wouldn't pay that for either!!

EDIT: OK, you got me there.....

(Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Tonto, disguised as a door, gets his knob shot off).

What were we discussing? Look at this guy's junk:

And look at his other items too! Talk about crap 'n' shite for big bucks; the winkers he's offering are from a C50/70/90.

I'm still laughing at the BiN delusions!

Steve,

He may get lucky, but not from this tight old Southern boy's wallet. I wish him the best for a quick sale. I have already primed and painted my slotted chain guard. It is not the correct year for a 67 and has JB Weld on the back side of the supports but it suits me just fine.

Brit mate, it's not a question of being tight; just commonsense and patience. Although I am beginning to wonder if this isn't a setup somewhere down the line; like one of our members yanking our pants down and standing back to watch the fallout! A bit like getting a jelly-bellied, tattooed transvestite stripper for your best buddy's stag night (bachelor party)......

It's all going on here too: http://www.honda305.com/forums/viewtopi ... 6001#16001

Got my $13.01 luggage rack today. Looks OK for what I paid. Should perform what I want it to do.
