CB72/77 Luggage Rack - how do they fit ?

Hi

Anyone got a luggage rack fitted to a CB72/77 with the standard seat ?
I want to know where it picks up and how far from the rear of the seat it has to be so
you can still getthe seat off without removing the rack.
Can then go hunting for one to modify ..

A photo would be great,

Hey Phil -- I have a new one that I got from eBay a couple of years ago, but have never installed (I do have to show some restraint on my bike sometimes!). I believe it uses the two upper shock mount studs/nuts and the two seat bolts, so in order to remove the seat the rack gets partially disconnected. From my recollection it seems to stick way back from the seat, and was one of the reasons why I didn't install it, though I was thinking of having it reworked to fit on my 305 Dream. Mind you, the one that I have looks like it was made in some sweat shop in God-knows-where, so I'm sure that a real Honda rack is much nicer than the one that I have.
