All I can tell you is that I was told CB77, and it had the right casting for my CA77. I did notice the right crank cover does not have an access hole (will with a rubber insert disk) that I have on the CA77. I'll look at the serial number and my "Silver" book to see if I can sort out what I've really got....

Instant follow up - and I was wrong and you're right. The case number is CA77E-213225, which if I'm reading my Bill Silver book correctly is a '62 engine. Thanks for getting me to go look at the number.
