spokes;wrench size for nipples & torque.

Post by shortray » Wed Feb 05, 2014 8:28 am

What size should the spoke nipples be on a '64 ca77?

They are between 5 and 6 mm on my bike; but 5mm is too small and 6mm is way too big. I need to know what size wrench to buy. I really do not want to buy the whole range be-tween 5 and 6mm.
Also, what should the torque be and please suggest a good torque wrench for occasional
use. Help is much appreciated,

You can buy a multiple size wrench. When you get the 'right' size it is often too tight....
