Removing the Yolk

Post by nziems » Thu Jul 11, 2013 11:11 am

Does anyone have experience removing the yolk from a CA77. Mine is a 66 if it matters.

I've looked at all the part diagrams and it looks like the square piece at the top of the yolk is just a threaded nut. I am having major issues removing it, so I can remove the yolk.

Am I missing something? Or do I just need more muscle to remove it?

Thanks for the help!

Yes, get a bigger tool - it's just a nut, regular right-handed threads.
