Tires?
Re: Tires?Actually, I did just do a search but didn't really find any recommendations beyond Chen Shin, which in my mind is too cheap.

I'm looking for something durable and safe, i.e. Pirelli's or Continentals -- does anyone know if they make tires that fit? Thanks again in advance.
Re: Tires?Dry, I have the chen-shing(sp?) tires on both my cb77s,no problem with 'em. But i will admit some trust issues in them, no good reason but probably made in asia would be it. On the other hand the price is right and that is important to me. I found a very good selection in the J.C.whitney catalog (online). Its where i got mine. They also list other makes that may be more to your taste, check 'em out. Steve Greer
Re: Tires? There are some Avons which I see on SH's a lot, I think they are Roadrunners or Supervenoms. Very good looking trustable tires $$$. That said I have an IRC on the front and a Chen Shing (sp?) on the back of my superhawk, which I ride pretty hard!

Matt

Re: Tires? Thanks for the quick responses. I'll look into both the Chen Shins and Avons. In my mind CS has always had a bad rep for durability that spans back to my bicycling days. Always seems a little too "cheap" for me. Nonetheless, I'll be happy to be proven wrong and will look into them.
Re: Tires?I think you want a roadrunner 90/90 18 for the front and a 100/90 18 for the rear. Should cost you $70 - $80 each. sweet tires and worth it. I had them on my last Superhawk... a black 64.

Matt
