rear shocks

Post by huf10 » Mon Oct 17, 2005 5:38 pm

The CLYMER manual shows the rear shock being dismantled right down to the oil seals and damper piston. It refers to a damper nut which has a special tool for removal. My dampers look like a sealed unit. There seems to be no obvious way of getting them apart. has anybodymanaged this?

Some are able to be taken apart but for some reason on the Later (don't know what year) Honda did make them so they can't be taken apart. ..........LM
