Is aluminum bendable??Is aluminum bendable??here's a question for someone out there that knows more about metal properties than me! anyhow...when i was reassembling my swingarm and alum. footpeg mounts, i noticed my right alum. mount had a noticeable hook to it. (mostly at the end where the foot rest mounts) -must have fallen over at one time? my question is, can this be straightened out with/or without heat? i'm afraid of just jumping in this and breaking something. anyone have any luck with this?? thanks-bk
Re: Is aluminum bendable??maybe is should have said: RE- bendable??
Re: Is aluminum bendable??If the part is the triangle shaped part on a CB72/77 they do bend easily and if heated to some degree (I don't know what that temperature is cause I've had them break even heated) they may be streightened somewhat. ......................LM<br />
RIDE IT DON'T HIDE IT!
Re: Is aluminum bendable??hey, it worked! thanks for the help. i did bend it back into shape without any mishaps only i decided to try it without adding any heat-worked out fine!
