Post by bk305 » Thu Jul 14, 2005 9:18 am

i'm starting to reassemble my triple tree but have come across a problem? the total of beaings i have for the upper race is 18 but have only 17 for the bottom? then i've read that they call for 19 each. which is right? maybe i'll have to start searching the floor-YUK!!!

bk305, Welcom to the forum! I know that these bearings are not caged in the hub area so it would be possible to loose some. As far as how many there are a shop manual should say,so I guess I'm not much help. But I can feel your pain. Good luck, Steve Greer
