I ordered a rear axle sleeve nut for my 1966 CA77, part number 90307-250-000. When it arrived it is a smaller diameter than the nut that came off the bike so I take it back and tell my dealer. They figure maybe it is packaged wrong (I used to work in parts so I know it happens) so they order another one. It comes in, same issue.
Anyone have any idea what is going on here? I (and the dealer) don't see any design changes or any other reason that there would be more than one nut for this application.
