CL77 Front Fork dissassemblyCL77 Front Fork dissassemblyAnybody made or know of a good substitute for a pin wrench? Better yet does anybody know where to get the correct pin wrench? I need to dissassemble the forks on my CL77. I suppose I could make one but the spacing between pins needs to be pretty accurate.

Re: CL77 Front Fork dissassemblyI use a wrench (1/2 inch aluminum) I made that is a single pin type and shaped like the HONDA shock adjuster wrench.
I made it so the arch is the size of the round on the seal holder and then drilled and tapped to the threads of the hex screws that are sold to replace the ones on the engine side cases then ground the end to a size that fits into the holes in the chrome seal holders. Works every time. ............lm
Pin wrenchI made one for the aluminum sliders that I no longer need. Would sell it for a reasonable price. PM me if you're interested.

LM........Are those tools for the steel sliders or aluminum? I am guessing the steel ones. I think I have the aluminum ones as the seal cover screws in from the top with the pin holes on the top as well. I'm learning more every day.........ggray sold me his for less than I could make it myself. I'll post how things turn out. Good pic, thanks
