Recommended oil type

Post by mjmudd » Tue Jun 05, 2007 8:29 am

Hey all,

Almost finished with my 65 305 Dream restoration and have heard a few different things regarding what type of crankcase oil to use. I'd like to get some feedback.

Thanks,

Mike

It's the ONLY oil to use if your using off the shelf oil.

It certainly makes sense, as this was the only oil available when these bikes were new it would be what they were designed to use.
