CB77 Exhaust

Post by flathead » Mon Feb 19, 2007 12:32 pm

In the search for a decent stock exhaust sytem for my cb77 I just aquired (2) NOS 1 peice right exhaust (header and muffler). These are in remarkably good condition for the environment in which they have been stored. One has been buffed out with a small amount of pitting left and one is still in the "cruddy" condition.
I would put either one on my restored bike, which is a rider, without hesitation. Either one would plate to new. I do not know if these are OEM or Aftermarket. They have a small Stainless Steel band that crimped to attach the header to the muffler.
What I want to do is trade (either one) for the left side in same condition. Doesn't have to be new however it must be solid and straight.
One thing that I noticed when I checked to see how they looked next to a stock 2 piece header is that the radius in the header appears to be slightly different and the header is of a lighter gage.

Any takers out there or does anyone have a left 1 piece exhaust that they want to part with for
cash?

I also have a pretty cool set of aftermarket "High pipes" that will fit a CB or possibly a CL that exit on both sides of the bike.
Thanks
Mark

Have any pictures of the high pipe aftermarket exhaust?

Can't help you out with a stock exhaust. All I have is stock mufflers and they are usable but a bit dented, no pipes.

I'd be keen to see those high pipes, too!
