How to dissemble the "square type rear shocks on a CA78I don't know if this has been mentioned before but I just discovered it myself tonight and thought some of you might like to know about it. My C78 Dream is going through a color change. I'm painting it red but she was black and the rear shocks will need to be painted so I clamed a block about one foot from my bench vice. I then used a square bar to wedge the bar up against the shock and push the shock towards the vice far enough to put a small pair of vise grip on the shock shaft. I then used a 17 mm wrench and unscrewed the top of the shock and then the lock nut and the shock came apart easily. Try it, It's a breeze to do. Here's some pics. Hope this helps some one out. Paul
