I believe that's why there are two substantial mounts near the front of the mufflers. Unfortunately I just pulled mine and found the most forward mount on the right side of mine broken off (and missing.)
Sorry, was going from the mental pic in my head. Right at the forward end of the muffler is one mounting hole and then about 4-5" back is another underneath (this is on my current muffler on my Dream.)

People have been asking for more pics so here they are. There is a plate that bolts onto this muffler and I may have put it on upside down, but either way I don't think I can put these on my Dream.

I'm open to trades for the correct exhaust. These are really nice quality and absolutely brand new.

When do you think these were made? They're not Honda parts as far as I can tell but I also don't see them for sale anywhere.

The inscription says they're not for use on post-1983 bikes so I'm sure they must have been made in the last 27 years.

They are NOS/OEM HONDA parts.
They were made first just before the end of the CB77 and a couple of years after.
They are referred to as "One Piece" mufflers. .................lm

LM, you are a national treasure. It's odd that they don't have any markings or part numbers.
How would they know back in 1970 or so to put on the warning about not using them on post-1983 bikes?

As I was taking the picture, I noticed that the "3" in 1983 is stamped on separately. The mystery continues.
