Hey Gary, I think TC has sent you the wrong spokes! My OE spokes are circa 140mm, back (outside) of the 90º elbow to the approximate start of the threading (the wheels are still built up); the new chrome spokes from vintage_001 are 137mm for the same points, with an overall length, elbow to tip, of 152mm.
Hope this helps throw light upon your dilemma.

The elbow to start of threads on the new TC set are 149 mm. I sent an email to Vintage_001 on Saturday from home, but have been too busy to check for replies. I'll do it this PM. Hopefully TC is understanding and will exchange the spokes, but I'm not holding my breath. Maybe my lack of faith in humanity is misplaced in TC. If I run into issues LoudMouse, are you willing to part w/ a 36 piece spoke set? It would undoubtably be faster/less insanity precipitating than trying to obtain mercantile justice from Senor TC. I still have a very soft spot in my heart for GB and the people there, although there were no GATSOs and far fewer vehicles on the roads in the early 1980's. I think some of the British population is now regretting the governmental extraction of their right to bear firearms. Here's to the same thing never happening in the USA. Cheers.
