Rear shock lower cover question

Post by Adam Tucker » Fri Jan 18, 2008 1:17 am

I was wondering if anyone knows whether the lower rear shock covers of a CB77 are the same length as on a Cl77? Its easy to tell from pictures that the springs and shock bodies are different, but you can't tell the total height of the lower covers without actually taking the two apart, and I have neither. I ask because I am looking for a pair of lower covers for my Cl77.

Thanks
Adam

The CL bike uses a longer length cover and the CB issue is to short for the CL.
That said the CL will work on the CB shock.
Don't use the plastic CB covers on a CL because the heat from the high pipes will melt it. .............lm
