Brake Cable & Speedometer Cable Routing

1967 CA77: I have looked at pics online and seen many different combos of routing for the brake cable. As you can see it's rubbing paint.

Speedo cable, I just don't know. Seems like I see a 'holder' of some sorts to keep it off the paint in some pics. Also, it's badly chaffing the cable itself as seen in pic.

Anyone know the correct routing for these two cables? Thanks!

Check to see if there's a welded-in clip/ring on the inside of the left fender strut for the front brake cable.

Brake clip is broken off. :(
