fork ear inner rubber spacers

Post by apeonwheels » Mon Nov 24, 2014 1:04 am

Hey guys, I`m assembling the front suspension on my 1966 Cl77 and I got stuck with these fork ears. So I am puzzled, because i can`t find the two rubber rings inside the tubes, and now i`m not sure what i should look for or if i need there anything at all. So there is one ring to the end of the tube, but i think there should be another one above the triple tree clamp, right? I have a pair of these ears for a 67 scrambler, these have 2-2 inner rubber rings, but those are different from the 66. Any idea? Thanks a lot!
