Grease Gun for Genuine Zerks

Post by Blackbird » Fri Sep 05, 2014 11:01 pm

Hi All,
I am anew member to this forum and hope to be as much help as I am a burden.

After debating changing grease zerks (we call them grease nipples, sounds better) I found a grease gun that works perfectly with very little leakage. A little tedious to fill up and use but worth the $27.25 Ozzie dollars spent. It is a Kinchrome brand Part #K8080

I am going to be restoring a 1964/5? Super Hawk CB77, I have been collecting parts and knowledge (mostly from right here) for the last year and am now ready to get it running and go for a ride. Then full restoration.
As I work in the mining industry my spare time is a bit unreliable but I get a free weekend now and then.

Thanks to everyone for your knowledge so far.

Jeff

Hi Jeff

Good to see another Aussie on the forum.

I like the grease gun. I find the larger ones messy as well.

I have a 1964 CB77 which I am getting about on. Great bike.

Post a pic of your bike when you get a chance

regards

Greg

"A little tedious to fill up"
I drilled and tapped a small hole, for a grease fitting, in the top of mine. I fill it with my "big" grease gun, no more mess.
