Front end question.....

Post by brcree » Thu Jan 12, 2012 5:43 pm

I have a 69 Honda Dream 305 Ca78. My question is: looking at the front of the machine I can see that the tire is tilting to the left at the top. Looking closer, it looks like the left leg of suspension is longer by almost an inch than the right. Is this correctable?

Found the prob!!!!! After removing the front wheel/tire, I removed the U shaped torsion bar and put it on a flat surface. There was no doubt the bar was bent at one time. Looking at the bar from the front.....the rt. side was lifted an inch above the table. I doubt this can be corrected with out compromising the metal. I hope this helps anyone else with this similar prob.
