Re-Jetting

Post by djg422 » Sun May 02, 2010 9:57 pm

Hello
Im going to rejet my bike, can someone tell me the part #'s of the stock pilot and main jet? What kind of carbs are these? I know the size is 135 main and 42 slow. But where can i find bigger sizes of jets that will fit these carbs? Thanks,
DG

Depends on thread. On my early 63, it's jis. So I retapped it to iso (5mmx.80p). Then I just used commonly found jets. I had a Factory jet kit for my cbr900rr and lo and behold, they had jets between 138 & 145. I'm still dialing mine in. 135 was too lean and 145 was too rich. I will try 140 tomorrow.
