honda 305
Re: honda 305Wolf, welcome to the forum! Have you checked your float valve? Make sure its opening and not junked up. Have you set your float level? If these are alright then you need to check your compression,if a valve is stuck in the open position you will not create vaccum to pull fuel/air into the cylinder. Have you looked at your spark plugs, are they really dry? If they are wet then you are getting fuel and you have some other problem. So let us know what you find! good Luck, Steve Greer
Re: honda 305thanks Kustommusic for the quick response. I will check those things in the mourning and let you know what I find out. The bike will run gas thru it when I squirt some in the carb through the flame arrestor screen.
Thanks again for the tips.
Wolf pack
Re: honda 305thanks for the tips kustom, I found out there was one port still plugged and the float has a small pin hole in it. I am ordering a float today. I put it back together with the bad float and it started right up. Now I am working on the clutch. I will keep my progress up to date. Thanks again.
Wolfpack
