cb77 correct settings for floats and jet size

Post by redtr4 » Sun Mar 20, 2016 11:41 am

Newbee here.. have searched quite a while on previous posts but getting more confused. Have a 65 CB77 that is running but not sure what correct float height is .. manual i have says 26.5 but looks like that may be for a CB72 .. and what are correct jet sizes (standard) for CB77 carbs ? thanks for any assistance. Kurt PS only seems to idle w air screws completely out and plugs fowling.. float height or jet size?

Given this bike is no show bike I decideced to us hub/wheel i have till i determine if running well enuf to invest in new wheel.. did take round block today.. kinda weird ... think jets in carb match the ones listed but seems to be running very rich ... will only idle (sort of) with air screws totally out... ideas?
