CB77 won't start

Post by Ken184 » Tue Jun 25, 2013 5:49 pm

My 1965 CB77 has been hard to start for a while- misses, spits, etc while it is cold, etc. - and then runs fine when warmed up. All of a sudden, tho, it sometimes won't start at all.
Took out plugs and they were slightly wet, but the plugs spark so I'm thinking its a carburetion problem,. But what do you guys say?

Is the battery good? Points/ timing up to snuff? Just because the plugs spark, laying on the head, doesn't necessarilly mean they will fire under pressure inside the cylinder.
